Nice Try Detroit
I'm all about civic pride but 9 million dollars of civic pride for America's 1st ruin? Detroit is a city that has "been to Hell and back" (although I don't actually think it ever came back). Its reason for boom was also its cause for bust. The automobile industry. So I guess it's fitting a car company (going bankrupt) pay for the classiest Detroit (going bankrupt) ad I've ever seen. Watch the video below to see how Chrysler tries to save two sinking ships with a 9 million dollar inner tube.

Your an idiot. What have you or any republican done to put anyone back to work lately. You would throw the baby out with the bath water. You have to advertise to sell cars. I'm happy my tax dollars helped save our auto industry. Again your an idiot.

I agree Mason, Mark is an idiot. I'm disgusted that our tax dollars were wasted on unions. That Chrysler commercial stunk and does nothing but showcase what a wasteland Detroit has become. Glad someone else has a head on their shoulders Mason.
Companies are supposed to do something reasonable for money. What a concept. They never go for it.
The commercial really didn't tell me anything about the damn car. Isn't that the whole point of a car commercial?

Unless you are from Michigan or the Metro-Detroit area then you can keep your negativity. Detroit was once a great city and it is on its way back. Yes the auto industry destroyed the city but there is a lot more to it then just that. This video is what the city needs right now and the rest of the country needs to wake up. There is enough hate towards Detroit that something needs to bring some light to it at this time.
Just like the commercial even says, a lot of the negativity is from people who have probably never even been to Detroit. I don't think there is another city where the people who are from it have more passion about their home. Even with all the bad image of Detroit, everyone from here will proudly say that this is where they are from. Detroit was once a booming city and it has gone to hell be we are doing our damnedest to get back. So please Mason, I like you, but keep the hate to yourself.
